     When researching for this assignment I could not find a teacher page on a school website because with technology now teachers typically use a different informative platform to post any information, they would like parents to see. Information you would typically see on a teacher page include ways to access the teacher like an email, class announcements parents need to know about like a school field trip, or photos of the class so parents can see what their students are doing in class. Furthermore, teachers may post things for school officials, other teachers, or the county to see on the school page as well. So, they may post the standards their teaching and what learning opportunities they are doing in class to achieve these standards. 

    As a teacher, I will use technological platforms in order to keep my parents informed and engaged in their child's schooling and learning. A tool I will use is personal chats with each student's parents to do weekly/biweekly check ins as needed to make sure what my students are learning at school is applying to their homework, inform parents about their child's behavior, and any other important information. I also will have a chat with all parents for any questions or concerns they may want to share with all the parents or ask each other. Engaging the parents this way may help engage and bring togetherness with the students in the classroom as well. 

    I think using AI for a lesson plan can be an effective way for a busy teacher to have a laid-out lesson plan for class and it supports creating a learning experience for class. I think the engagement part of a lesson plan still requires a teacher because you could not just give young students a lesson plan and expect them to complete all aspects. This assignment taught me that a good lesson plan has a beginning, middle, and end to it in order to have a flowing lesson in class and using the AI lesson plan may influence me to integrate AI into some of my lesson plans I use in my own classroom. I did not like the canvas group tool just because it was confusing and hard to find some of the folders for the tool and I think assignments put on the assignments section would be easier to access.
